Now widely acknowledged as Northern Ireland's premiere secondhand bookshop, it's hard to believe that Bookends- situated in the ancient coastal town of Bangor- has been in business for only a few years.
Ever since Jim Townsend opened the shop in 2003, it has gone from strength to strength. Regular customers will have noticed that the main retail premises has moved two doors up from its original location, thus increasing space (and books!) by a third. The first shop continues to be maintained as a store, and as a result Bookends has an enormous reservoir of stock to draw upon.
We value your business and will make every effort to secure any book that you should require. If it is not on the shelves in our main retail store, ask. We'll check the store, and in the event that your requested item is not in stock, we'll order the book in for you at a competitive price.
Internet clients also benefit from realistic pricing of even rare works, unlike so many sellers who inflate the price of their books at the expense of the book-loving customer. Because we love books as much as you do.
